rikard.me/blog/005.txt Fri 11 Aug, 2023 Notes on Inscryption What is This Document? Following are notes that I took while playing through Inscryption for the first time in December, 2022. I updated these notes during my subsequent playthroughs in 2023, with the hope of solving the Karnoffel Code without looking anything up on the internet. Due to various reasons, I never ended up finalising this project, and I didn't think about these notes until now. I found them in my documents folder and was reminded of what a great game Inscryption is, and what it inspired me to do. I hope to be able to get back into the game at some point to finish what I started, but until then, here are the notes of a madman. A Timeline of the Game's Events On 2 October, Luke goes to a garage sale and buys four packs of Inscryption, an old card game which there was only one printing of. On the same day, Luke opens the packs and finds a card with coordinates written by hand on it. The coordinates are 49.301911N 123.14154W, which is Stanley Park, a large national park located just north of Vancouver. He notes that the location is close to his home. On 3 October, Luke visits the location and unearths the floppy disk. On 10 October, Luke first accesses the contents of the floppy disk, which turns out to be a digital game of Inscryption. On 12 October, Luke sends an email to GameFuna, enquiring about the existance of the game. On 13 October, Luke records a video where he asks his audience if anyone is aware of there being a digital game of Inscryption. He says that he's unsure about what he's allowed to say, but does say that he has filmed himself playing it. The video ends with Luke asking "what the fuck is the deal with the K-". The video ends abrubtly, seemingly corrupted, and a binary code is displayed in place of the subtitles. The binary code is: 01001011010000010101001001001110010011110100011001000110 01000101010011000010000001000011010011110100010001000101 Which converts to ASCII as: KARNOFFEL CODE On 14 October, Luke receives a response by email from GameFuna, telling him that a digital game of Inscryption does not officially exist, and that he is urged to send them the floppy disk by mail, and that they will take legal action if he doesn't comply. On 15 October, Luke is visited by a woman who he thinks is from GameFuna, however, he does not open the door for her. On 16 October, Luke is visited by the same woman, and this time records his interaction with her. When she introduces herself, the video corrupts, and a binary code is displayed in place of her name. The subtitle reads: "I'm 011000010110110101100001011011100110010001100001" Which converts to ASCII as: "I'm amanda" On the same day, Luke calls Mrs Hobbes, the woman from whom he bought the card packs. He learns that the cards belonged to her daughter, Kaycee Hobbes. He learns that Kaycee died a while ago. He finds out that Kaycee worked at GameFuna. Luke researches Kaycee, and finds out that there was a fire at the GameFuna office. No one was hurt, except Kaycee who died from fire related complications. She was working late with quality assurance. On 17 October, Luke wakes up in the middle of the night to someone walking around his house. He gets up to open his bedroom door. The video abruptly ends as the door is slammed open. On xx October, Luke contacts The Herald, a local newspaper, about his experience with the game, but is murdered by Amanda before being able to relay any information. Characters We get to know a few characters from the videos that Luke recorded: * Luke Carder, "the Lucky Carder". In Act 3 we are able to find three dated journal entries, all from 2006. The author refers to themselves and El, a woman with whom they are doing card related things. In one of the entries, dated 10 June, the author says that they are done sorting the photos, and that the attached one is the last of them together before they lost her. They end the entry with a farewell to their "sis". After defeating the four scrybes, we are able to find a fourth entry in a hidden area where there previously was none. The entry is from three years later, 4 January, 2009. The entry is written by Luke, and in it he details that he started his YouTube channel originally to deal with grief. We can infer from this that the previous entries were written by Luke, and that his sister died in 2006. * El Carder, Luke's sister, who died before the events of the game. * Amanda. A supposed employee of GameFuna. Luke first encounters her on 15 October when she comes knocking at his door, but he does not open. She returns on 16 October, and Luke speaks to her. On XX October, she once again returns to Luke's home, this time murdering him with a shotgun. * Mrs Hobbes - Kaycee's mother. There are four scrybes, who are the creators of all cards: * Leshy, the Scrybe of Beasts. He captures beasts using his camera. We also know that he is able to capture things other than beasts, as shown by his Death Cards, the fact that he captured the other scrybes, and the fact that he can capture the moon. His cards are empowered by sacrificing other cards. We know that Leshy at some point before Luke's playthrough turned his fellow scrybes into cards: - P03 turned into a Stoat. We are able to find his corpse in the final room in Act 1. - Grimora was turned into a Stinkbug and locked inside Leshy's safe. - Magnificus was turned into a Stunted Wolf and locked inside the cuckoo clock. We are able to find his corpse in the final room in Act 1. He was able to do this with the OLD_FISH that was caught by the Angler. From this we know that corrupted cards hold immense power, something which is also demonstrated by P03 as we fight him at the end of Act 2. The code to Leshy's safe in Act 1 and 2 is 273. If we open the safe on the first day of Act 1, we find a pile of meat inside instead of the Stinkbug. We can find the same pile of meat in Act 2, which we use to lure the Prospector's dog out from the woods with. * Grimora, the Scrybe of the Dead. She uses her quill to inscrybe epitaphs of the dead, turning them into cards. Her cards are empowered by bones. We know that Grimora starts the process of erasing the contents of the floppy disk, after Leshy has killed P03. * Magnificus, the Scrybe of Magic. He uses his painting brush to create his cards. His cards are empowered by Mox crystals (gems). When talking to the Builder in Act 2, he will tell us that Magnificus is a mysterious creature. The other creatures have theories about him and his ambitions, but the Builder believes them to be too unsettling to share. According to dialogue with Magnificus in Act 2, we know that it was Leshy who gouged out his eye in Act 1. We know that Magnificus is able to see the future with his magic eye. We know from a note in his tower that he is aware of the Great Transcendance which P03 is trying to bring about, and that he is urging Grimora to consider something. What exactly she should consider is not specified, as the note ends abruptly, but it is likely something that will hinder P03. Magnificus is the last scrybe to be erased. He is the only scrybe with which the player does not shake hands. * P03, the Scrybe of Robots. He uses a particle scanner to copy the CPUs of robots into cards. His cards are empowered by energy cells. After defeating Leshy in Act 2, P03 enters his cabin to gloat. He says that Leshy being bad at Inscryption is the reason why the other scrybes are back in their real forms again. He notes that they would have been back sooner, if the disk hadn't been lost. At the end of Act 2, we battle P03. During the battle, he plays a corrupted card, which is made of the OLD_DATA that the Dredger fished up when we met him in P03's factory. As we do damage to the corrupted card, the game glitches, and we are carried into Act 3. P03 becomes the hegemon. During Act 3, as we encounter the ghoul Kaycee, he laughs when Kaycee mentions heat, implying that he is well aware of how the real Kaycee died, meaning he has understanding of not just the power of the OLD_DATA, but what it contains. P03 planned to convert the entire world into a world of robotics in an event called the Great Transcendance. Leshy kills him while attempting to bring about this event. Other characters and creatures that we meet throughout the game: * The Prospector. We first encounter the Prospector as the first boss in Act 1. We encounter him again in Act 2, where he blocks the path to the pond west of Leshy's cabin. In Act 3 he clears a shortcut between Leshy's cabin and the eastern checkpoint. * The Angler. We first encounter the Angler as the second boss in Act 1. We encounter him again in Act 2, where he sits outside Leshy's cabin. When talked to, he implies that Leshy has tasked him with finding corrupted fish. After defeating the Angler in Act 2, we can find him sitting at the docks, fishing. He says that it is a good place to find corrupted fish, "OLD_FISH". He says that he caught an OLD_FISH, with which he beat the Dredger, the Goo and Kaycee. The Angler returns as a playable card in Act 3, where he is called FISH BOT. He refers to the other scrybes as fish, calling his master Leshy Fish, for example. He refers to another scrybe, who lies deep beneath. * The Skinner and Trader, who are the same person. We first encounter the Skinenr in Act 1, where we can buy pelts from him using teeth. When we encounter his alter ego, the Trader, we are able to trade those skins for cards of varying power. We encounter them one last time in Act 1, where they serve as the third boss. We meet them again in Act 2. The Trader can be found in all hubs, and does not offer any dialogue. The Skinner must be fought before being able to confront Leshy. To be able to fight the Skinner, we must first trap a rabbit using a bear trap, and then photograph them. When showing the photo to the Skinner, they will comment that they can smell the rabbit's blood on us. In Act 3, we are able to give holo pelts to the Trader in exchange for five snippets of lore. - He refers to the Devil, the corrupter who created the original code, i.e. OLD_DATA. (Card XV) - He refers to Barry, who was "put to the gun". This is a parallel to Luke who meets a similar fate at the end of the game. - He refers to Kaycee as the Empress, who created the game using the "triangle". - He refers to a man in blue, who visited the creation. (Card XVI) - He refers to Karnoffel. (Card XIII) * The Woodcarver. We first encounter her during Act 1, where she gives us various totems that empower our cards with sigils. We are able to meet the Woodcarver again in Act 2, in a hidden area to the west of Leshy's cabin. She says that she has glimpsed the OLD_DATA, but will out of kindness not speak of it. "To know it is to die", she tells us, something she notes never deterrs players, implying that many have come before. The only thing of the OLD_DATA she tells us is that it is corrupt knowledge, so evil that it corrupted the disk. She tells us that we should ask the scrybes about the meaning of the OLD_DATA, as they don't seem to share her concern for human life. She tells us that she is unsure sometimes what her gameplay purpose is. She says that she has been a puppet of Leshy for a long time, and that she now has much to ponder, referencing the fact that she was part of his version of Inscryption in Act 1, and that she now is free of that. * The Bone Lord. We first encounter him in Act 1, where we are able to offer cards to him in exchange for his favour, which allows us to start rounds with one or more bones, depending on the number of offerings. His skull hangs on the wall next to the cabin door. We encounter him again in Act 2, where he is hidden inside a coffin in the basement of Grimora's crypt. We can offer him an Ancient Obol, which opens a passage leading further underground. The cavern that the passage leads to is vast. There is a great skeletal ribcase wearing a tattered shirt, a path lies underneath it. There are three playing cards in the shirt's breast pocket. The visible card is a tree with two acorns. When we speak with the Trader in Act 3, he shows us tarot cards and gives readings of them. The card Death shows a skeleton with a card on its ribcase. It is the card for which the Trader mentions the Karnoffel Code. As we follow the path north we once again encounter The Bone Lord. He speaks to us: "In a measureless cavern... deeper than the sunless sea... You approach The Bone Lord. You approach me. "... Do you hear it? The OLD_DATA? How it twists and corrupts. How it even invents images unknowable." He tells us to approach again if we are willing to worship him and the OLD_DATA. As we approach again, The Bone Lord is pleased, and tells us that we may not understand the meaning of the OLD_DATA. He admits that neither does he fully, but that we both appreciate its power. The Bone Lord gives us three offerings for our dedication. The card "Bone Lord's Horn", and "The Bone Lord's Femur". The third offering is a blue 3D rendered key. When interacted with we are told that its use cannot yet be understood. We meet him for the last time in Act 3, where we use the key given to us in Act 2 to open the door in Grimora's crypt. Little however comes from the meeting. He says he will tell us of the OLD_DATA, but that we cannot record it. Luke learns of the OLD_DATA, but we, the players, don't. * The Mycologist, who is two people combined into one body. We first encounter them during Act 1, where they are able to surgically combine duplicates of any given card, to make one strong card. We encounter them again in Act 2, after having defeated two scrybes. This time we cannot offer any cards that we want, instead they ask for four specific cards: 1. Gravediggers - no special remarks. 2. Field Mice - no special remarks. 3. Sentry Drones. As they finish work on the Sentry Drones, the small head comments that this research has brought them closer to something, however, the large head hushes them before they say specifically what. 4. Blue Mages. As they finish work on the Blue Mages, the small head once again implies that they are closer to whatever goal they may have, noting that they may "have found a clue inside". The large head says "F- for the K- k-". The small head answers "The code, yes. But we best not speak more of it." As we know from the binary code found in the video dated 13 October, they are referring to the Karnoffel Code. After their dialogue ends, a red 3D rendered key appears in their room. When interacted with we are told that its use cannot yet be understood. In one of the corrupted videos, recorded sometime after 17 October, a hidden message appears: "MYCOLOG1ST22|P3RHAPS??|BLOOD$L3TT3R8OX" I am unsure what this means. * The Builder (actual name unknown). We encounter them in Act 2, where they are repairing the broken bridge which leads to Magnificus' tower and P03's factory. When we have defeated a scrybe, the bridge is repaired and they move to the docks where they give us tips on how to build our deck. They also intersperse short bits of information about the scrybes in their dialogue. We encounter them again in Act 3, where they are once again repairing the bridge. Magnificus has three pupils which we meet: * The Goo. We are first able to meet the Goo in Act 1, where we acquire him as a consumable from one of the inventory squares on the board. When played, Leshy will say that we cannot play him, and instead places him on the counter next to the cabin door. We know that he is in constant pain. We know that Leshy trapped the Goo inside the bottle, according to dialogue with the Goo in Act 3. We know that the Goo holds a grudge against the Angler, likely for having beaten him with an OLD_FISH. In Act 2 we encounter the Goo trapped inside of a pyramid shaped crystal in Magnificus tower. He is the first graduate that we encounter. We know that the Goo desparetely seeks the approval of Magnificus, and has made a painting of himself and his master which we are able to find after solving a combination lock puzzle in Act 3. * Head on a Spike (actual name unknown). We encounter her in Act 2, where she is trapped inside of an orange diamond shaped crystal inside Magnificus' tower She says that she is in a lot of pain, but that it is all worth it to be part of Magnificus' deck. She is the second graduate that we encounter. We meet her again in Act 3 where she clears a shortcut in the magic area. * The Man with the Green Hat (actual name unknown). We first encounter them in Act 2, where they are trapped inside a green orb in Magnificus' tower. They are the third and final graduate that we encounter. The Man is completely deprived of sensory input, making him extremely happy to experience stimulation as we meet and battle him. There are three robots inside P03's factory in Act 2: * The Inspector (actual name unknown). He is the first robot that we encounter, and he does not disclose anything noteworthy. * The Melter. We encounter the Melter inside of P03's factory. His purpose is to melt raw material fished up by the Dredger, which is later turned into parts. His dialogue is interspersed by short outbursts which are left on screen for a very short time. I have not been able to discern if anything noteworthy is being said in these. * The Dredger. We know from dialogue with the Builder in Act 2 that the Dredger is working overtime to make sure that P03's plans comes to fruition. We encounter the Dredger inside P03's factory, where he is sourcing the raw materials for all the robots that are created in the factory. The material is being fished up from an underground lake. He says that he's looking to "dredge up something special". As we finish our battle with the Dredger, he fishes up a piece of OLD_DATA, which glitches out as it moves along the conveyor. When the OLD_DATA is melted and formed into a part, it does not take the appearance of other robotic parts. Instead it simply takes the form of the number "10". When constructed into a robot, it takes the form of a box labeled "!o". We meet the Dredger again in Act 3, underneath P03's factory. He is begrudging the fact that P03 did not reward him by turning him into a miniboss like Leshy did with his servants. There are three ghouls inside Grimora's crypt in Act 2: * Kaycee Hobbes, 1970 - Winter 1992. It is stated that Kaycee died from a falling piece of ice, and that the defribilator failed. When talked to, Kaycee will comment on how cold it is, and ask if someone turned the AC on. She will also have a piece of ice sticking out of her skull. When talked to after solving the tombstone puzzle, she will comment that she is named after one of the developers of Inscryption. We meet her again in Act 3, where she opens up a shortcut in the scrapyard which is blocked by ice. She says that a little heat should do, to which P03 laughs, implying that he is aware of how the real Kaycee died. * Sawyer Patel, 1702 - Fall 1778. It is stated that Sawyer was eaten by a hungry dog, and that he holds no grudge. When talked to after solving the tombstone puzzle, he will say that the casket in the basement holds something dark. He is of course referring to The Bone Lord, and tells us that we should offer him an Obol. * Royal Dominguez, 1589 - Spring 1632. It is stated that Royal died from scurvy, and that there was no cure. When talked to after solving the tombstone puzzle, he will say that he wishes to be a boss himself one day, "the big lemon". People who never appear but who are referenced in the game files: * Kaycee Hobbes. We know from the Trader in Act 3 that she created the NEW_DATA using a "triangle". She was not the only developer of Inscryption, but only her name is inscrybed. We know from her mother that she worked at GameFuna, the publisher of Inscryption. According to the Trader in Act 3, Kaycee helped create Inscryption with the powers of "the triangle". The Trader refers to GameFuna as "the tower" on top which rested a giant triangle. Likely what the Trader means by Kaycee helping to create Inscryption with the power of the triangle, is that she was able to do it with the help of GameFuna. We also know that Kaycee died "a while ago". We know that a news article reported that she died from fire related complications while working late at the GameFuna offices. There are various references to Kaycee throughout the game. There is a death card named after her in Act 1. The card has 1 power, 2 health, and the sigils 2-Way Split and Quills. There is a ghoul named after her in Grimora's crypt in Act 2, see the section about ghouls above. During Act 3, many of the bounty hunters that hunt us are named after Kaycee. There are a lot of OLD_DATA entries referencing Kaycee. In Act 2, we are able to find a hidden area containing a candle with a green flame, and a flickering photo of a woman, most likely Kaycee. * Barry Reginald Wilkinson. Barry is a person who came into contact with the OLD_DATA. The Trader in Act 3 tells us that the OLD_DATA crossed a large sea, and that it did so with many other disks. It was however discovered, and Barry was put to the gun. We know from the chat log at the end of the game that Barry was trying to smuggle away the disk, and that he was under great stress. In Act 2, we can find a hidden room inside Magnificus' tower which contains an OLD_DATA photo of Barry's ID card, and a candle with an orange flame. The same card can be glimpsed at the very end of the game, as we access OLD_DATA, this time without any distortion. The date of issue is 8 February, 1954. His occupation is listed as confidential. The card's serial number is 129278, the same that was issued to Marilyn Monroe in 1954 when she married Joe DeMaggio, and thus changed her surname. In fact, the art used for the card is the one that shows up on Google if you search for Marilyn Monroe's ID card, complete with her signature. This is likely an easter egg. We can see a chatlog as we access OLD_DATA where Barry is mentioned: "[1c] Yeah, it did. Poor old Barry Wilkinson, a.k.a. Big Ear was imprisoned literally hours after these words were written. [illegable] ... get back to the States but I have not had any luck contacting him... There are actually a ... [illegable] "[2c] Eureka! That explains so much actually. I could not figure out why this disk would be tossed into a crate with a bunch of blank ones. Barry's plan to smuggle it out this way seems contrived at best, but I can't imagine the pressure he was under over there. "[3c] Indeed, Barry, indeed. "[4c] Fuck you too Mr. Kaminski. They never told us that." (- ! - START OF SPECULATION - ! -) I believe that the person who writes at 2c and 4c is Kaycee. I believe she found out about the disk, and is talking to someone who knows about it. I believe that she may have been given information about it earlier, from Mr Kaminski, whom I assume is the boss of GameFuna. She seems to realise that he has lied to her. (- ! - END OF SPECULATION - ! -) We first encounter Barry as a death card during Act 1. The card is named Reginald, has 1 power, 3 health, Touch of Death sigil, and costs 3 bones. During Act 3, a bounty hunter called Grind Wilkin can appear if we have a bounty on us. * Kaminski. We encounter Kaminski as a death card in Act 1. He has 0 power, 1 health. He is referenced in the OLD_DATA chat log at the end of the game. Is he the blue man? What We Know of the NEW_DATA and OLD_DATA The floppy disk contains two data archives: NEW_DATA and OLD_DATA. NEW_DATA is where the game files live. We know this because when the game is erased at the end of Act 3, the filepath of the deleted files contains NEW_DATA. OLD_DATA is a separate archive, located on the same drive. We know that OLD_DATA is not erased together with NEW_DATA, and that Luke accessed OLD_DATA at the end of Act 3. As he accesses OLD_DATA, loud crackling and screeching noises play, the screen shakes, photos and text appear and are quickly covered by black bars. Luke smashes the floppy disk with a hammer shortly after accessing OLD_DATA. We know from the Trader in Act 3, that the Devil is the creator of the OLD_DATA, and that the OLD_DATA crossed a sea before being discovered by Barry, "the big ear". We know that the scrybes and many of the other creatures we meet are aware of the OLD_DATA. The scrybes have found ways to use the OLD_DATA to create powerful cards, with which they are able to dominate all other scrybes with. The process of one scrybe controlling the others seem to happen from time to time, as hinted to by Magnificus in Act 1 who says he's found a way to "reset the cycle once again". Grimora also says that she has seen "this" (the process) play out enough times to know that it can be broken. Magnificus reaffirms that this cycle occurs every so often in Act 2, where he refers to the dominant scrybe as a hegemon. When a scrybe becomes a hegemon, they impose their ideals on the game, in effect altering the appearance and function of the game. We know that the world that we experience in Act 2, is the original form of Inscryption. The world that we experience in Act 1 is Leshy's version, as he is the then current hegemon. (- ! - START OF SPECULATION - ! -) We don't know exactly when Inscryption was made. Since it uses 3D graphics we can rule out that it was made before Quake, 1996. From the fact that it's found of a floppy disk, we can infer that it was not made later than the early 00s. However, there are journal entries which are dated 2006, and even a hidden one from 2009. By 2006, floppy disks had gone the way of the dodo. Could it simply be the case that the entries were added after the fact? There are two achievements which refer to the version of Inscryption that we play in Act 2 as "the original Inscryption". Act 2 is the only act during which there is no hegemon. As a scrybe becomes hegemon, the game alters to fit their theme. During Act 1 we are locked inside Leshy's cabin, the game is in 3D. During Act 3 we are locked inside P03's factory, the game is in 3D. During Act 2 we are free to run around the entire world. Since we are able to make a difference between original Inscryption and altered Inscryption, perhaps it could be feasible that the game was made originally in the early 90s, and picked up again in the mid 00s and modified. This would explain why there are journal entries from 2006 in the game. We also don't know for how long the floppy disk was buried in the woods, but this is also not particularly interesting to know. Knowing when it was buried would only help us to confirm that it was Kaycee who buried it or not, but we are already fairly certain that it was. We know that NEW_DATA, the game, was created by GameFuna. We know from the Trader in Act 3 that Kaycee was one of the developers, but that there were many more, but only her name was inscrybed. The Trader refers to GameFuna as "The Tower", and comments that he does not fully understand the nature of Inscryption's creation. He says he knows of a building, and of a triangle of "isosceles proportions". And of a blue man who visited during the creation. (- ! - END OF SPECULATION - ! -) What We Know of the Karnoffel Code We know that by 13 October, Luke is aware of the Karnoffel Code and is asking his audience if anyone knows what the deal with it is. The last time we meet Grimora she notes, after having gone through Luke's files, that he has investigated the Kartoffel Code. We know that the Mycologist is trying to find clues that would bring them closer to the Karnoffel Code. They are performing surgery on cards, hoping to find the clues inside them, which we know from Act 2 that they are able to do. We know that the Trader has gleaned the purpose of the Karnoffel Code, and he tells us that it is terrible. He tells us that the Karnoffel Code is in the cards, "and then oblivion". After beating the Mycologist in Act 3, a card is created which contains a fragment of the Karnoffel Code. The code reads as follows: 9182344890109280129 If we go into the filesystem as Act 2 is loaded, we can see a png file named with the above code. A jpg is named with the following code: 8019109810293812203 We know for a fact now that the code can be found within the cards. Now we just need to find out which cards to look in. The OLD_DATA at the end of the game hints towards the Daus card. Numbers That May or May not Mean Anything We are given a series of numbers throughout the game. I have no idea if they carry any meaning or are significant in any way, however here they are: 273 The code to Leshy's safe 1589 The birth year of Royal Dominguez 1593 Part of a filename in OLD_DATA, karn-daus1593.png 1632 The death year of Royal Dominguez 1702 The birth year of Sawyer Patel 1778 The death year of Sawyer Patel 1954 The year of issue for Barry's identity card 1970 The birth year of Kaycee 1998 The death year of Kaycee 2006 The year of all journal entries found in Act 3 129278 The serial number for Barry's identity card We are given time stamps throughout the game, which we can enter into the cuckoo clock: 04:00:00 Gives us the Ourobot in Act 3. 04:25:05 Gives us the Stunted Wolf card in Act 1. 11:00:00 Gives us the ring in Act 1, and one of the sigils that are used in the sigil combination lock for the Goo's painting in Act 3. Unanswered Questions * How did Kaycee find the OLD_DATA, and where? * Why are we able to find the journal entries in Act 3? Unlike the OLD_DATA that we can find in Act 2, it is not corrupted. * Why did Kaycee want the game to be found again? * Who is the woman that visits, and ultimately kills, Luke? We know her supposed name, but who is she actually? * Who is the "blue man" who visited the creation? * What is the Karnoffel Code? * During my first playthrough I stumbled upon a hidden card in Leshy's cabin during Act 1. When clicked on it disappeared. What was the card, and how do I get it again? * What other things does the painting in Act 1 contain?
